Double Bluff

This cemetery is located on a hilltop near the beachside parking lot at the end of Double Bluff Road, approximately three miles south of Freeland, on the southern part of Whidbey Island, Washington. Burials were located at and near the top of a small slope alongside a (then) tilled field.

There are no markers as such, but several rocks are located above each grave, as shown in the inset of the photo. Several burials were made on this property farmed first by the Johnson family and then by the Oliver family after the Johnson widow married Ed Oliver.
